Jim Bayles leads Catalyst's newsprint and international sales teams, which are responsible for global sales for all of the company's product lines. Jim has more than 25 years of paper sales experience in the U.S., Canada and international markets and is well respected in the groundwood paper industry. Jim was previously director of international sales for Pacifica Papers.

Linda Champigny

Sales Operations Manager Newsprint and Directory Papers

Linda has held several positions within the sales and marketing group since she joined Catalyst Paper (then Fletcher Challenge Canada) in 1989. She first worked in customer service, then moved to newsprint sales and specialty paper sales in Canada and Australia. In 2001 Linda became sales operations manager for directory and newspaper publishers. She is based in Richmond.

Mark Petersen

Director Newsprint Sales

Since 1986 Mark has experienced every facet of the paper industry — from paper converting, printing, customer service, production planning, customer service and supervision to logistics and sales. "While only four of my 20 Catalyst years have been specifically in newsprint, most of the principles of producing paper and selling it to a customer remain the same. Most of the process is about making what customers need and value and getting it to them as promised. Our value equation is quite simple — to be the preferred supplier and give the customer the best all-round value."
